Gratitude 2021

November is often the month of reflection. As we approach the end of the calendar year, this is the month for our annual review at work, examining our accomplishments and challenges during the year. With the US celebrating Thanksgiving, we also often express gratitude for what we have (and don’t have, in some instances) to be thankful for.

After months of thinking about wishing to start planning to write again, I took a big step last month and obtained my own web domain. Still, I put off actually drafting my first post until today. Perfection is my enemy! And so begins the positive self-talk. Done is better than not, and good-and-done is better than perfect-and-not-done! I don’t let perfect stop me from knitting or singing or exercising. Why should I hold myself back when it comes to writing?

I’ll begin with a series of posts on Gratitude, thanks to inspiration from one of my favorite podcasters, BostonJen of Down Cellar Studio. And before I dive in there, I’m grateful for this forum and the aforementioned inspiration!

Write on.
