I took my #MarkItMonday pictures on Monday morning before my flurry of holiday activities started. And then I got very focused on the CFP national championship game Monday night. So I forgot to post before I crashed after the game, figuring I’d do a #TardyTuesday post instead. But then life happened, and the day got away from me completely. Instead we have #WeAreTheChampionsWednesday!
Stitched or Still-in-Progress
I had very little knitting time last week, unfortunately. But my three active projects got at least a little attention, lol. The test knit won’t be done on time. I only worked five rows on it last week. And this sock had even less attention.

And the Zig Zag blanket barely moved! Seriously- like half a chevron.

On Monday I worked for over an hour on the test knit (should be able to share pictures next week), and last night I put some time into the Zig Zag. The sock is ready for movie going this weekend.
This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 14th year, my first. If you would like to find out more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, please check it out; it’s a very welcoming group!
Exploits in Exercise
Sports… as I mentioned earlier, I watched the CFP championship game on Monday night when my beloved Buckeyes beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 34-23. There was great rejoicing! I’ve ordered the commemorative editions of the local newspaper as well as a couple celebratory shirts. This is the first time an FBS team has won so many games against top-ten opponents in one season, and “we” won four in a row! It’s been ten years since the last championship, and this one feels even more glorious, knowing the challenges and scrutiny this team has faced.

Sadly, I won’t be able to attend the celebration on Sunday because I have another commitment at that time. Hopefully I’ll be able to watch it after the fact. This team deserves all the accolades.

Knit on. 🧶
