Year of Projects – Week 34

I feel like I never have time to sit and knit these days! I’ve got content spinning around in my head, but I never have time to sit down and write, either. Both aren’t entirely true, but I have been super busy lately. My DoorDash work has been in high gear, but for good reason. I’ll share more about that later in the week. I’m also working on getting the next podcast episode up. That will happen this week, too. Anyway, here are my updates.

Stitched or Still-in-Progress

Only two things saw any attention this week. Can you guess what they are?

SHaGS – pattern by Sarah Jordan, yarn: Abi Grasso Self Striping Sock in the Monopoly colorway on US1 (2.25mm)

I’ve started the gusset increases,so hopefully I have a heel soon!

Ten Stitch Zigzag – pattern by Frankie Brown; yarn: Desert Vista Dyeworks Viso in a multitude of colorways, on US3 (3.25mm) needles

I managed 2.5 zigzags last week, and I’m just a few rows from the midpoint of the third strip. I started pulling additional yarn out of my bag to plan for the next few strips. This will be my primary travel project next week, ahead of the cruise.

This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 14th year, my first. If you would like to find out more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, please check it out; it’s a very welcoming group!

Knit on! 🧶

Thank you! I am finding it interesting to see what colors are repeated across different colorways! I might not catch those similarities in different socks. ☺️
