Year of Projects Week 32 and #MarkItMonday

Once again, I have made very little progress in my knitting during the week. I have a very full schedule as I prepare for my upcoming vacation. I leave in just three weeks, and there’s a lot to do in that time! At least I managed some work on a couple projects. And in fact, I didn’t realize that I worked on one before sitting down for the second half of the Super Bowl last night. 😂

Stitched or Still-in-Progress

The only WIP that came out to play was the DVD blanket. And last night I picked it up thinking I hadn’t done any knitting on it all week, but the progress keeper said otherwise. So, I went back to my photo gallery to make sure I just hadn’t moved the marker yet, lol. Huzzah! I managed a full zigzag. Not great, but better than nothing. And as I watched the Chiefs continue to be walloped, I knit another zig (or was it a zag?). I have four more full zigzags to complete the strip before I start the next one. This will be a travel project, so I need to select my next two colorways soon!

Cast-on Conversations

I mentioned on my podcast episode last week that I cast on a new sock since I have movie theater visits coming up! I went stash diving for something fun to work with and cast them on 5 February. I made good progress in the theater, and a bit more at home. There’s more movie going in my future, so these could knit up quickly.

There will be more updates to come this week, but I’m crunched for time right now.

This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 14th year, my first. If you would like to find out more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, please check it out; it’s a very welcoming group!
