Another Monday is underway, and I’m appreciating the holiday on the heels of a busy weekend. The community chorus held our annual dinner shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Very well attended, the event should net a decent amount of money for our nonprofit. I was glad for a fair amount of down time those evenings, plus sitting time at a couple theaters. Here’s what I’ve achieved this week.

The February 2024 edition of my Desert Vista Dyeworks socks are completed. I finished the ribbing between the touring production of Company and the AMC showing of Bob Marley: One Love.

The fourth wedge of Lolette is finished! That means I’m halfway through this section of the shawl.

Sleeves are finished and the hem is cast on. Working my way up the body now. I think I’m short on yardage, so I’m looking for an additional color to create stripes in the body well before the beaded yoke.

I completed the first half of the eyeglass fob. I needed the needle for another project (stay tuned for info) so I’ll finish it in a couple weeks.

I’ve neglected to share the update on this hat recently because I rarely work on it. It will likely be my go-to mindless knitting at the movies for several weeks.

Here is the start of the Sock Madness qualifying pair. We were given two weeks to complete them with required minimum repeats.
And lastly, I will share the shipment of Desert Vista Dyeworks yarns that arrived this past week. Ordered with my Q3 discount in late 2023, I now have most of the yarn I need for this year’s sock club.

Knit on. 🧶
